Tasks
The award targets authors of the BRICS countries who demonstrate their contribution to literature in accordance with the following criteria

Selection Criteria
Works must be submitted for the Award and pass the appropriate selection processes. In the case of a tie in points among several works, additional counting and voting are conducted.
Laureates are determined by counting the points received from Jury members. In the event of a tie in points among several works, the counting of ballots with the highest ratings is conducted, followed by ballots with the next ratings.
Includes a commemorative award sign and diploma.
Organizational Structure
The Jury is a group of experts, minimum 2 (two) people from each country, formed by the Board of Directors. The Jury forms a Shortlist of authors and works included in the Longlist submitted by the participating countries and also determines the Award winners form among the shortlisted works.
JURY
The highest working body of the Award, which determines the strategy of the Award, finances and provides other resources to the Board of Directors, consisting of reputable representatives of the BRICS countries (both individuals and legal entities)
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
It is the highest governing body consisting of individuals, forming national expert councils and representing national nominees. The Board of Directors is responsible for financing and organizing
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The working body responsible for the general organizational support of the Award activities
SECRETARIAT
It is the highest supervisory authority that carries out general control of compliance with the regulations, goals and objectivity. It helps to strengthen the status and promotion of the Award, as well as forms the Board of Directors.

The Award was established by the participants of the BRICS Forum "Traditional Values" in Moscow in November 2024
